Privacy Policy

1. Controller

MetriqBear, reachable at support@metriqbear.fit.

2. Data we collect

• Account: email, password hash, verification status.
• Profile: name, age, sex, height, weight, target, goal, diet style, allergies.
• Logs: food, water, workouts, weight, steps, sleep, progress photos you choose to save.
• Technical: device type, crash diagnostics, session tokens.

3. How we use it

To compute your targets, personalise coaching, sync your devices, send reminders you enable, and improve the service in aggregate.

4. Legal bases

Contract (to provide the service), consent (health sensors, photos, emails), and legitimate interest (security, analytics).

5. Sharing

Only with processors who run the service: Supabase (database & auth), Google (sign-in & AI vision), payment processors, and email delivery (Zoho). Never sold, never advertised with.

6. Storage & security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Supabase infrastructure; photos live in access-controlled object storage.

7. Retention

Trial: deleted 38 days after trial start if you never subscribe. Paid lapse: deleted 13 months after subscription end. Active accounts: kept until you delete.

8. Your rights

Access, export, correct, restrict, object and delete — via Profile → Export My Data or support@metriqbear.fit. See the Data Deletion page.

9. Children

The App is intended for users 16+. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.

10. Cookies & analytics

Only essential session tokens plus anonymous crash diagnostics. No advertising cookies.

11. Changes

Material changes are announced in-app or by email before taking effect.
